

Wear comfortable clothing neither too bulky or too tight that you can move, stretch and breathe in. Sweatpants or shorts, a tee-shirt, leotards, tights, capris, yoga pants are all acceptable. For conditioning classes, bring clean (preferably indoor only sneakers).
Yourself! We provide everything you will need for class including mats. If however you'd like to bring your own mat, you are welcome to. A small towel for dabbing sweat might be desired especially in hot weather.
Yes, we have a full locker room with lockers, showers and a sauna for your convenience.

The studio will be open for you to arrive 15 minutes before any given class. We recommend that you come and get settled 5-10 minutes before class time. The beginning of class is your warm-up. Improper warm ups can lead to injury. Please be on time for your own sake as well as out of respect to your instructors and classmates.
We have a water cooler at the studio. You may want to bring a water bottle and/or you are welcome to leave a cup hanging on the cup rack by the cooler to use when you are here. Paper cups are available.
You pay for a single class or buy a ten class card when you get there (see pricing). Your card will go into a file box. When you come to class you will sign in each time and your teacher will punch your card as you go. You can always check to see how many classes you have left. Payment can take place either before or after class.
Part of the beauty of Breathing Light is that all the classes on the schedule are drop in classes and you are welcome in any class! If you have never been to a Pilates class, taking an Essential (beginning) series is recommended so that you understand how to work intelligently and w/o causing injury. You are always welcome to take private sessions in Pilates, Yoga or Body Conditioning as well.
We highly recommend these! This is time for you to receive quality one-on-one attention from one of our certified instructors. A session lasts about 50 minutes and can help you to refine technique, customize a session to your personal needs or work carefully around an injury. It's a great time to have your questions answered.
