The practice of Yoga originated in India 5000 years ago as a way to integrate body, breath, mind, the emotions and spirit. Only recently have neuroscientists begun to understand Yoga's physiological, mental and emotional benefits.

The immediate benefits of Yoga are stress reduction and relaxation, improved flexibility, strength, energy and mental clarity. With time, Yoga brings practitioners more profoundly into connection with the present moment, with their bodies and spiritual nature.

There are eight branches to the ancient yogic path, including meditative and intellectual disciplines. Americans mostly know the branch known as Hatha Yoga, a vast collection of asanas (postures) woven into vinyasas (flows), coordinated with pranayama (breathing). Today's Hatha Yoga takes many forms, including Kripalu Yoga, Anusara Yoga, Power Yoga, and more.





Freedom Yoga with Edgar Mesquita

This class includes pranayama (breathing techniques), chanting (vocal techniques) and asana (yoga poses) to attain a deep body/mind/spirit connection.


Kripalu Yoga with Erica Hunter

A traditional style vinyasa class, that coordinates flowing postures with breath and intention.


Slow Flow Yoga with Glenn Scherer

This class coordinates mindful movement and traditional yogic breathing and flows slowly from pose-to-pose to reduce stress, enhance form and flexibility, and build strength.


Yoga with Chelsea Hastings

A blend of Hatha and Anusara Yoga, this class is centering and invigorating, but not advanced.


Yoga Sanctuary with Libby Kellington

A deep healing class that takes the student to the inner sanctums of body and spirit. Libby Kellington is a certified Kripalu teacher, certified Power Yoga teacher, and is trained in Vinyasa/"Freedom/Style" and Inner Body Flow.


Restorative Reiki Yoga with Meg Chisholm

This is a deeply healing, deeply relaxing and supportive class. It will release tension from your nervous system and support your body in letting go of any holding and tension both physically and mentally. Using props to support you, your body can drift into a powerful, healing state. We have two amazing teachers holding the space for this class, Meg Chisolm and Sukhada Repass.


Yogilates with Sharon McIlwaine

This class blends the deep stretch of yoga with the core strength of pilates into one flowing class. A combination of lengthening and strengthening the body. Open Level.


Gentle Stretch, Deep Relaxation with Sharon McIlwaine

Gentle stretches to open the body culminating in guided deep relaxation to release tension and stress. For those needing or wanting a gentle class. For all ages and abilities.
